Do you really want to know yourself, and to live your being? Being-oriented counselling brings you into contact with the basic goodness of your Being, your essence. This involves meditation training and discipline. Looking with the support of your essence, you can understand and accept the difficult emotional issues in your life, and your behaviour patterns around these. The accepting view from essence defrosts your frozen and withdrawn feelings, and you find that you are free. But you also come to realize that you can remain free only as long as you dare to remain sensitive and vulnerable, but not be swept away by your emotions. Tuning in with Being through your meditation is also very inspiring, and can be enlightening. The challenge is then to manifest this inspiration in the way you live your life - or rather, to integrate your life in this inspiration. Do you feel stressed-out, agitated, nervous, gloomy, and want your life back? Being-oriented coaching is a series of maximum 10 sessions in which we look at how you deal with your present problems, and with yourself. We focus on where your thinking argues, and fights with reality. What if you only think things, and yourself are wrong, but they aren't? By experiencing yourself as you are, experiencing reality as it is, you will find that you, and reality are already allright. Using EMDR, painful memories which still influence you, can be released fairly quickly. After ten sessions you probably too, can reduce worrying, choose for yourself how to react in difficult situations, and be satisfied with 'just' doing what you think is best.
Would you like to learn to let go of stress, and make meditation a part of your life? Open meditation sessions on Thursday night (7-8:30PM), and Sunday morning (11:10AM-1PM) inspire, and teach you to allow reality, your feelings, and yourself to be just as they are, in whatever state you find yourself. Right as you are, you will find Being already completely present. Then, the stress of 'doing better' drops away by itself. The Thursday night sessions are focused on getting started and keeping going with your meditation, and what you encounter in that process. In the Sunday sessions we start with meditation, and then bring an issue from our daily lives into this meditative state, letting it be just as it is. In this way you can gradually integrate your daily issues in your meditative practice. By appointment, I also give these sessions in your own time, in your own company.
If you consider working with me, and you are in Amsterdam at least once every week for the next three months or once every fortnight in the coming half year, consider yourself invited for a free orientation session. Please, mail me by clicking here, and provide a short description of your problem, your goal for coaching or counselling, and your suggestions for a couple of dates and times that would suit you. Sessions with me start between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m, and if necessary, are also possible in the weekend. I'll then mail or phone you back to make an appointment. A session of 60 minutes is priced at € 50,- EMDR, or meditation sessions take 90 minutes and are priced at € 75,-
